Apple Chips
Why does “an apple a day keep the doctor away?” With a variety of shapes, colors, and flavors, apples are packed with phytonutrients and antioxidants that help reduce your risk of different diseases including cancer, diabetes, and heart disease.
Ingredients
3 Apples (such as Honeycrisp, Fuji, Jazz, or Pink Lady)
3/4 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
Directions
Preheat your oven to 200°F.
Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Wash and core apples.
Leaving the skin on, slice apples horizontally into rounds.*
*NOTE: the thicker you cut the longer it takes to bake.Arrange the apples in a single layer on the prepared baking sheets.
Evenly sprinkle cinnamon over sliced apples.
Bake for approximately 1 hour.
Turn each apple slice over and continue baking for an additional 1 hour.**
**NOTE: leave in longer for crispier chips.Enjoy!
