Overnight Oatmeal

Overnight oatmeal is a great weekday breakfast because you do all the prep the night before. This recipe makes 4 servings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole grain oats (with germ, bran, and endosperm)
  • 4 cups water or plant-based milk
  • Dash of salt
  • Fruit (fresh, dried, or pureed)
  • Nuts
  • Honey
  • Cinnamon
  • Seeds

Directions

Slow Cooker

  1. Grease the inside of a slow cooker.
  2. Add oats, water or plant-based milk, salt, honey, and cinnamon; mix well.
  3. Cook on the low setting for 7-8 hours.
  4. Top with fruit, nuts, and seeds.

Instapot

  1. Add oats, water or plant-based milk, salt, honey, and cinnamon; to your Instapot; mix well.
  2. Turn on and cook for 25 minutes.
  3. Top with fruit, nuts, and seeds.
