Dr. Simser received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada and completed a Master’s Degree in Science and Acupuncture at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York, NY. As part of her continuing education, Dr. Simser completed a Master’s Degree in Chinese Herbal Medicine, a certification in Sports Medicine Acupuncture®, and she received her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Dr. Simser traveled annually from 2003-2009 to Beijing to study classical channel theory under Dr. Wang Ju Yi. Dr. Wang is a highly respected master practitioner of Classical Chinese Medicine, with over 50 years of clinical practice. Dr. Simser is National Board Certified in Acupuncture by the NCCAOM, and is licensed to practice acupuncture in New Jersey and New York. Dr. Simser is also a long-time practitioner and teacher of Ashtanga Yoga. She currently maintains a practice in Fair Haven, New Jersey.
